What is the difference between a Safety Representative and a Workplace Representative?
Under the Swedish Work Environment Act, there is no legal distinction between a Safety Representative and a Workplace Representative . Since 2010, the terms are used interchangeably within the legislation to describe the same formal role of representing employees in health and safety matters.
